Bereavement Bear

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Patchwork Bear.

They created this beautiful bereavement bear for me from five of my son Mark’s favorite shirts, and it was absolutely worth the wait. The quality is impeccable. Every stitch, every detail, and the way they thoughtfully incorporated pieces of his clothing is just beautiful.

But this is so much more than a beautifully made bear.

These are shirts my son wore. They hold memories of him, of his personality, of ordinary days that I would give anything to have back. Now those pieces have been lovingly turned into something I can actually hold close when missing him feels unbearable.

Losing a child leaves you reaching for anything that helps you feel connected to them. I can’t wrap my arms around Mark anymore, but I can wrap my arms around this bear made from the clothes that once wrapped around him. There is something incredibly comforting about that.

The details on his little feet—Mark’s name, his birth year, and 2026—made it even more personal and emotional for me.

This bear will have a permanent place in my chair with me, especially on the hard days. It is not just a keepsake. It is something tangible that carries pieces of my son and helps bring a little comfort to my broken heart.

This product exceeded my expectations. The setup was simple, and the quality is exceptional.

I purchased a bereavement bear for my 2 year old daughter, Peyton. My husband passed away in June and I wanted to have something she can hold onto when she misses or thinks of daddy. It was beautifully put together and is now part of our nighttime routine. We give daddy bear a hug and a kiss and let him know how much we love him.

I purchased 2 bears-one for my sister and one for me. My sister teared up when she realized her bear was made from my Mom's everyday blouses. My bear is made from my Mom's going out to dinner blouses-fancy. We both love our bears and the memories they bring back of our Mom.

I live everything except the eyes I bought blue eyes on line.

This business is great! I love my Bereavement Bear so very much. They did an excellent job. Me George kitty crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026. This bear they made with clothing that George actually wore. They even put his name on the little foot. Bear is very well made. They anre so easy to work with. I had questions annd they promptly andwered them. And the poem that is on it is beautiful. Thank you very much.

We received our bears and were so touched that the shirts that we sent for each of the three bears were kept organized and used exactly how we wanted them.
