Your clothes have memories. We help save them

We all have favorite clothes saved away, full of memories: baby clothes, team/school uniforms, wedding dress, concert tees, even clothes from a loved one who has passed away.

What are you doing with all those clothes?

We turn YOUR clothes (and the memories they hold) into a keepsake quilt, animal or bag.

Good for the environment, good for your closet, good for you.

The Patchwork Bear is the ORIGINAL clothing keepsake company- upcycling your clothes, and giving new life to old memories.

The Patchwork Bear - recycled, remade, remembered

We're One of Oprah's Favorite Things!

We're thrilled that our Memory Bear is one of Oprah's Favorite Things! Our goal is to make a keepsake from your clothes that brings back happy memories.

Don't settle with anyone else to cut up your clothes: we sign for & receive your package in a safe, indoor location (not left outdoors!), design & sew in a professional studio-office space and hand-sew details like nose & eyes. We give each order the care and love your memories deserve.

If Oprah trusts us, you can too!

About Us

The Patchwork Bear is the ORIGINAL clothing keepsake company founded by Jennifer Cura who combines her skill as an architect with her love of sewing to produce a line of handmade products that are as unique and personal as those who own them. We are located in beautiful downtown Princeton, NJ where our talented, thoughtful team works to create your keepsakes. Stop by and visit!

Seen in Oprah Magazine, Parents Magazine, CBS Morning Show & spotted with celebrities like Jessica Alba, Matthew MacConaughey, Jennifer Garner and more, we have been trusted with your clothes to turn them into keepsakes since 2005.

"Every order is unique and we enjoy getting to know you and your families through the clothes you send us. The most rewarding part is seeing how our designs touch your lives by bringing back happy memories."
