My mom died six years ago this April, and as an only child it was devastating. I have held onto some of her favorite clothes, pieces that I look at and immediately am flooded with memories. I have kept them folded in a drawer and pull them out now and then when I need that hug from heaven. I didn’t know what to do with them and I happened upon The Patchwork Bear website - after much thought and deliberation, I sent the pieces off and asked to have a bear made. It was the perfect idea, it was the perfect memory, and it is the perfect bear. As soon as I opened the box the tears started, but they are tears full of love and memories, and I am so gratmtohavediscovered this website and found the perfect thing to do with my mom‘s clothes. We were thrilled to receive our beautifully crafted mini bears made from my late mother’s favorite robe. The bears went to all the grandchildren and bring back sweet memories of their sweet Grandmom. We’re so grateful!

After suddenly losing my parents together, one of the things I would do is open a drawer and hold this piece of clothing of my mom’s. Then I would put it back away.

A cousin sent us this bear made out of old plaid T-shirts from our father who passed away a few years ago. It seemed silly keeping his T-shirts hanging in the closet, so this was the perfect way to have a present reminder as a decoration. He sits on the bookcase in the living room bringing smiles to all.

I ordered two bereavement bears for my daughters. Their Daddy and my husband was killed in an automobile accident. It has left a huge void in our family. The bears were absolutely amazing! My daughters loved them. I actually plan to order more for my granddaughters for they loved their Papaw greatly. Thank you for the beautiful and well crafted products you provide. Could not be more pleased with the bear you created for my daughter with the fabric I sent from her brother's shirt she had signed when he moved from elementary to middle school/upward basketball jersey and her nanny's favorite shirt. After my mothers passing, I wanted to do something special to remember her- these memory bunnies are perfect and will be cherished by her daughters and granddaughters. I am thrilled with how great they turned out, and I smile whenever I look at them.

I had this done for my daughter for Christmas from my mother’s top. She wore this one of the last times that she was able to hold her great grandson. Can’t explain how special this really is. They did such a wonderful job on this!! Very pleased!!

At a loss for words really. I purchased half a dozen of these for my sister, daughters, and nieces. They were made from my mom’s pajama bottoms. They were so fun and bright! I actually am having trouble coming up with the words to describe how happy I am with my order. I was so nervous to send my late mother's clothing out to some strangers to cut them up and make things. I'm so glad I did. Firstly, the Patchwork Team handled everything with cate and respect. They answered all questions I had prior to the order, let me know when they received the clothing so I knew it was safe, had my order weeks before I expected, and despite me not making the deadline for a christmas delivery, STILL had them to me the week before.
