My husband passed 10 years ago. I have been saving his shirts for the past decade in hopes of making a t-shirt quilt. Since it has not happened, I thought of what else I could do with the shirts I have been saving. I decided to have a bereavement bear made and share it with my daughter at her baby shower this coming May. I was so excited when the bear arrived that I had to show the bear to my daughter's siblings. It brought them to tears. I feel the bereavement bear will be a way to keep my husband's memory alive and an opportunity to share memories with our new grandson.
I asked Patchwork Bear for a few design requests. Other than that, I let them design the bear with the shirts that I mailed. They followed my design suggestions and made the bear better than I imagined. I expect I will be placing future orders for my other children and future grandchildren.
The Patchwork Bear does a beautiful job of preserving your memories. I have ordered multiple times from them. They take pride in their work.
We love the bears! Our matriarch passed away in October and these bears will be loved by her grand and great grands forever. Thank you so much for these beautiful keepsakes.

Making the patch work bear out of my mother’s favorite jacket for my soon to be grandchild is so precious to me! She just passed away last year and I know she would love nothing more than to hold this precious baby. Now every time I see the baby holding this bear I will think of her watching over him or her.
