Memory Bitty Bunny

Couldn’t be more thankful for The Patchwork bear! They went above and beyond to get the bitty bunny here before Christmas even though I missed the deadline! Meghan was an absolute legend by changing my address in the middle of the process too! Couldn’t be happier!

We ordered two Bitty Bunnies that incorporated two shirts each and they are absolutely wonderful. Incredibly well made and it's obvious that care was taken to "dress" the bunnies just right. Earlier this year my 92 year old mother-in-law passed unexpectedly. She had eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. The youngest great was three months old when she passed and her 21st great grandchild was born a week after she passed. Both girls carry part of their great grandma's name in their names. Although neither will remember her, we wanted them to have a special keepsake from a woman who would have adored them. We chose Bitty Bunnies because the girls are still small and they are the perfect size for chubby little hands to hold onto. We absolutely love the bunnies and are so grateful to have something that carries wonderful memories of a special woman.

The bitty bunny turned out beautiful. I sent in two shirts and requested a split design similar to the model shown and it turned out exactly as I imagined. It will be a treasured memory of my dad.

I received my Bitty Bunnies today. 3/4 of these were made from vests, the two vests were exactly the same, but worn by my daughter and son for a dance costume and a family wedding. They kept the tags into the pattern as requested so I could remember who wore which vest. The other bunny was made from another dance competition shirt from my daughter’s successful dance competition season. They are quite cute! Thanks again for saving my memories!
