My husband, my soulmate, my best friend passed away and I had two bears made, one with his favorite Hawaiian print shirt and pants and one with his work shirt and jeans. They turned out beautifully and they make me feel close to him. They were both well made and designed beautifully with the clothes I sent. I'm going to order one more for our Goddaughter/Niece. She loved both of mine.

My mom was born and raised in Alabama. So I had my bear made out of one of her Alabama shirts and I absolutely love it soon as I pulled it out of the box, I started crying and gave it a big old hug like she would’ve done, Lord I miss her and I thank you for the craftsmanship that you’re able to provide. Graedy was our next door neighbor and a braver young man of 13 years you will never meet. He received a diagnosis of cancer and went full force trying to hold out against it. Alas, he lost his battle on November 7 and our entire neighborhood felt the loss. What made this harder was the loss of his father less than 5 years before this. Graedy had an army of people around him including his two sisters and younger brother. It was for them we had the Patchwork Bears created from his martial arts uniform and anime tshirts. The kids were all overwhelmed in the most beautiful way to have Graedy with them forever. This is the third time we've used Patchwork Bear to provide love and support to a family. I requested a bear be made with my daughter's pajama's. She had recently passed away in 2024. I picked a shirt from the ones she wore the most and sent it on to become a bear. It is funny how something so comforting can be made from a loved one's clothing. The bear arrived and I was instantly in love. It was the perfect size, and very well made, you just wanted to hug it. I will cherish this forever and so grateful that this company exists. The bear is very comforting. His name is Dunk.

I received the Bereavement Bears made from my brothers clothes that he wore while serving in Vietnam. They will be a wonderful reminder of him for my sisters and I. Thank you so much.

I sent my wedding dress, that had been hanging in my closet since 1988, to this incredibly talented store. I asked for a long-eared bunny instead of a bear and they really out did themselves. She is absolutely perfect. They were able to use my veil, one of my satin bows, tons of pearl beading, and strings of pearls. I am so grateful to have her instead of a hardly seen, hanging wedding dress. I waited a few years to actually send my dress to them and I am so happy with their beautiful work.

I was so worried about sending my dad's t- shirt away - he had just passed in February but when I opened the package today, the bear is absolutely perfect. This was one of the final t shirts my dad wore and now I have it forever memorialized in this super cute bear. I love my patchwork bear .

My mom passed away after a battle with breast cancer. My daughters were struggling with the loss of their Nana. Their faces lit up when they saw their bears! We talked about the different pieces of fabric and what articles of clothing they came from. The bears haven’t left their sides since. They carry them around, sleep with, they’ve even named them.
