All the recipient needs to do is choose 1-2 adult size clothes (or 6-10 child-size) and send them to us in the mailing bag provided.
Each Memory Bear Gift Kit includes:
- Shipping instructions
- Tips on choosing clothes to make the best patchwork memory bear
- Order form to write special requests and personalization
- Optional design guide with pattern blocks if they want to input on the bear design

NOTE: If you are ordering a memory bear for yourself and already have the clothes, we recommend ordering a MEMORY BEAR. It's the same as the gift kit, except we email the shipping instructions directly to you instead of sending them in a gift box.

Step 3: Send your clothes to the patchwork bear
All packages sent to us are signed for upon receipt and kept in a safe, indoor location. We know your clothes are irreplaceable and we take great care throughout the process
Step 4: receive your keepsake in just a few weeks. Instant heirloom!
Please allow 4-6 weeks for memory bears & animals; 8-12 weeks for quilts & bags. May take longer during holidays (Oct-Dec).

Very pleased with the bears made from old clothes. Although cut from the same cloth, each bear is stiched carefully to give it its own personality. The team's eye for pattern and design, is superb! We've ordered many bears over multiple orders and plan to order more soon. We wanted to have a good item to remember grand parents and great grandparents, the bears will help keep those memories alive.
I’m very happy with my bears, they turned out amazing. It was a surprise for my teenage children and they cried. Definitely a keepsake from their father who passed away back in August. Thank you!!
It’s nearly 5 years since my husband passed away, and I was always hoping to make something from his T-shirts for our children because he had so many and wore them all the time. I sent some favorites connected in special ways to each of my children and the final product of each bear reflected everything I had hoped for. I even included an image with wording that I hoped they could incorporate into the design and they included it beautifully on the foot of each bear. It will be a very bittersweet time this holiday when I give them the bears, but I couldn’t have asked for a better gift for them!!!
