If you know me in real life, you know this is my favorite pic of me and my husband. I post it every Veteran’s Day and have it framed at home.
This is when he came home after his deployment in the Gulf back in 1992. It was pre-internet: no cell phones, emails or texts and he only received snail mail on the ship once every few weeks. We had to number our handwritten letters so they could be opened/read in order. So basically the Stone Age. We still have bins full of these letters ❤️ Happy Veterans Day to my favorite Veteran and all who have and continue to serve.
