All bags are made from upcycled vintage and antique quilts and thoughtfully designed to highlight the unique qualities of these truly keepsake quilts, some dating back to the early 1900s. My daughter lost her baby at 22 weeks after 5 days in ICU. They did such an amazing job with the remembrance birds made from her baby blanket and clothes that she was able to give to family members in remembrance of Rory. The bears were even more amazing. They rushed the order and it was so heartbreakingly beautiful.
I was so nervous at first to send the clothing.
When I received my Bear tears came to my eyes. It was beautiful and i truly Loved it.

It was really difficult to part with my little boy Liam’s blanket but I am so glad I did. I love my bear! I asked if they include his name from the blanket and I honestly didn’t think it would happen. But I was wrong and it looks wonderfully. Now whenever I miss him I can just hung my little bear.
This bear came out better than I could have imagined. This bear is such high quality and the craftsmanship is excellent. My mom recently passed and this was such a great way to remember her. I asked to have some rose appliqués from one of the shirts be added to the bear. They were placed perfectly. Thank you so much for helping me keep my moms memory alive.

I lost my husband a year ago. I sent my husband's favorite golf shirts to The Patchwork Bear to be used for a quilt. The results were amazing! Patchwork Bear utilized the most important parts of the golf shirts, i.e. golf course names and/or locations, in a manner that me and my family will always remember. They know what they are doing and why! It brings peace to families everywhere.
