I really enjoyed making a bear using clothes I embroidered for my daughter when she was a baby/toddler. The instructions and process were mostly easy to follow. I am by no means a sewing machine expert, but the iron-on pattern & numbering system made it relatively easy to assemble with the novice sewing skills I have. I had some trouble with the ears and arms — nothing that was irreversible (or able to be covered up!) I added buttons for the eyes instead of using embroidery thread. Highly recommend for anyone looking to create a keepsake!

I looked into this for over a year. I just couldn’t get past the part of of sending off the last piece of clothing I had left and the memories associated with it. Out of the blue I seen the ad again and just pulled the trigger before I backed out again. I’m so glad I did the results were amazing had me in Tears for hours. This was my second order from patchwork bears. I originally purchased a bitty bear for each of my kids families, but the grandkids love them so much I had to order more. When I opened my package of the memory bear and bitty bear made from my mother’s summer robe, they took my breath away. I knew they would be beautiful but I guess pictures just don’t do justice to the true quality of the products you make. The scraps of extra fabric were lovingly folded and wrapped in a plastic bag and it was obvious how much you care about the feelings of the families for whom you create these beautiful memories! They are so adorable, and well made! Sweet embroidered faces, sturdy stitching and nice seams. They have the logos/pockets from the shirts which is so cute. We really appreciated being contacted to order a second bunny with the extra fabric from our loved one so it wouldn’t be wasted! This is such a special way to save their clothing.
